It’s a friends-to-lovers, second-chance love story with a touch of magical realism. Think: The Midnight Library meets Love, Rosie, but with the glamour of pop stardom and the warmth of the Mediterranean sun.
On this page, I’ll keep you posted about the manuscript’s progress and the process of writing it, translating it, finding an agent, and selling it to a US/UK publisher, and being incredibly rich and famous and buying my own private island.
WIP Updates
First Draft:
April 7th, 2025: Starting the plotting phase. Lots of work with the Enneagram. I love that tool for character building. I also took some courses from the Writing Mastery Academy by Jessica Brody. They’re so good!
April 28th, 2025: Starting the first draft.
Jun 6, 2025: 30% there! 33 k words. I thought I would go faster, but I’m also doing research and a lot of work at the scene level, so I don’t have to delete half of the first draft as it usually happens.
Jun 23, 2025: At 38k words, I’ve decided to change the POV, tense, and language, and I’m now drafting in 1st person, past tense, and English, and translating the first chapters. No one said it would be easy!
